Our Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology competition runs all year, with a fantastic prize package on offer for a lucky few, as well as monthly and spot prizes to give away.

Let's celebrate Fife's unique history and heritage and hopefully you'll learn a bit along the way and discover some hidden gems. It's simple to enter. Keep an eye out as the picture reveals bit by bit throughout the month and clues will be posted every few days. Good luck!

Rules

Open only to UK, CI, IoM and RoI residents aged 18 or over excluding any employees of Fife Council and their families or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.

No purchase necessary.

Prize must be accepted as offered and is not transferable. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.

Prize must be accepted within 7 days.

The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value. The decision of the promoter is final and binding in all matters.

Participants' details will be held and may be used by the Promoter and or any agent of the Promoter for marketing purposes.

By participating, entrants agree that the Promoter is not liable for lost, misdirected, damaged, stolen, illegible or late entries. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the promotion in whole or in part at any time during the promotion period.

By entering the promotion, the participant will be deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. Instructions relating to this promotion form part of these terms and conditions.

The winning entries will be selected by Welcome to Fife (Fife Council).

The draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Monthly prizes

One entry per month only per person. All entries will also go into the draw for the main competition prizes.

Main prizes

All entries received throughout the year will be entered into the main prize draw in December 2017.

The prize does not include any travel insurance, or any other meals or related living expenses, except as stated. All travel, activities and accommodation are at the winner's risk. Transportation, taxes, fuel, meals, gratuities, travel upgrades or any additional expenses are the responsibilty of the winner.

All activities, travel and accommodation are subject to availability, weather conditions and subject to the individual prize provider's standard terms and conditions. If the winner is unable to use the prize by the specified dates, the prize will be forfeited.
