For our next Pop-up @ The Stables on Saturday 15th June we are excited to welcome Nat and Bryde of Falkland Kitchen Farm. Their menu has been designed to celebrate 5 years of market gardening on the Falkland Estate.
It is a seed to plate menu using vegetables, fruit and herbs grown and harvested at Falkland Kitchen Farm. The dining experience will be a relaxed and social one at communal tables, with each table holding up to 7 guests.
We will provide glasses for you to bring your own bottle on the night with no corkage charged. The menu is priced at £30 per person which can be paid electronically at time of booking or in cash on the night.
The Herb Garden: Pan roasted fennel, fennel seed polenta cake, burrata, rocket and herb garden dressing
Where the land meets the sea: Scorched mackerel fillet, pickled gooseberries, new potato and seaweed salad
Pigeon in the brassicas: Wild pigeon breast, lovage and buckwheat skirlie, pigeon jus, crispy kale
Crop rotation: Pan roasted beetroot, lovage and buckwheat skirlie, crispy kale, smoked leek puree
All served with griddled salad onions and wilted greens to share.
Strawberry fields: Strawberry mousse, set strawberry gel, black pepper shortbread, roasted strawberries. Vegan and gluten free options are available by request.View all events
