From 27 January to 11 March Cambo Gardens will be hosting events and activities for all ages and interests as part of the Scottish Snowdrop Festival.
Key events include the ‘Imbolc family bonfire party’ on 1 February at 4pm. Imbolc is a Gaelic traditional festival marking the beginning of spring, halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. The event will celebrate the lengthening days with warming crafts, music, parade, bonfire and snowdrop sausage sizzle!
During the school half term families will be invited to create imaginative feats of art and engineering using natural materials to create something to float, hang or move as part of our STEAM snowdrop SPECTACULAR design challenge! Other events include snowdrop sketch walks through the woodlands, wildcraft activities for families and a course with Head Gardener Elliott Forsyth in designing a modern Winter Garden.
