Fife Economy Partnership
Fife Economy Partnership & Fife Economic Strategy 2009-2020
The Fife Economy Partnership is a group of Fife’s major employers and public agencies. Formed in October 2008, the partnership brings together key players from industry and the public sector to identify and drive forward strategic policies and initiatives to grow the Fife economy.
The Partnership is chaired by Chris Parr, Managing Director of Tullis Russell. Other representatives from the private sector include MGt, Diageo, Hardies, Amazon and Fife Chamber of Commerce. Other organisations include, Fife Council, Scottish Enterprise, the University of St Andrews, Fife Colleges, Business Gateway and the wider Fife Public Sector. The Partnership’s roles include setting priorities for Fife’s sustainable economic development, making sure that the public sector’s policies and activities support the growth of the Fife economy, and presenting Fife’s case to the Scottish Government and Scottish Enterprise. Promoting Fife is a major component in the Partnership’s work, which is all about bringing more investment, business and tourism to the area.
