About

Balmule was originally a square tower house. Generations of owners and families have helped the building evolve whilst maintaining its traditional charm.

Now for the first time in its history, Balmule House has opened its doors to guests looking for a relaxing, indulgent stay. All the traditional elements remain: cornices, fireplaces, even the original maids’ bells (all still working, too). However, Balmule embraces all the best of today with air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, underfloor heating in bathrooms and brand-new plumbing to ensure round-the-clock hot showers for everyone.Balmule also lends itself well to smaller incentive groups.

We have some of the world’s best championship golf courses just a short drive away.
