Linburn Cottage is a delightful detached 2 bedroom retreat that combines comfort, charm, and hospitality. We have 1 double bed, two single beds in front bedroom and a travel cot available if required for free use.

Fully renovated inside and out last year.

Myself my partner and our 2 children love living in Linburn Cottage when we are back in Dunfermline to visit friends and family. This has been our home since 2012 and have lovingly restored it back into what it is today and decided to let other families enjoy the cottage, the city of Dunfermline and all it offers when we are not there.

Dunfermline City is wonderfully historical with plenty of parks and play parks for walks and keeping kids active. Linburn Cottage location is perfect to access all this enjoy some relaxing time in the cottage itself beside the log burner watching Netflix or in the back garden at the bar area and patio area for some Al Fresco dining.

Have a swing on the handmade Mexican hammocks and enjoy a BBQ while the children play with the outdoor toys in the 'secret cupboard' at the side of the outdoor bar.

With an easy train link to Edinburgh which is around 35 minutes to Waverly Train Station in the very heart of Edinburgh. Glasgow is just over 1 hour and Dundee around 45 minutes. Linburn Cottage is only a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh International Airport.

Linburn Cottage is a 5 minute drive, 20 mins or so walk to the Fife leisure park with crazy golf (indoor & outdoor), cinema with Imax screen, ten pin bowling, Bingo hall and numerous lovely restaurants including family favourites Mcdonalds, Burger King, KFC, Frankie & Benny's, Nandos & Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee and a huge Dobbies garden centre.

Dunfermline City centre is wonderful and boasts the truly amazing Pittencrieff Park known locally as The Glen which boasts indoor glasshouses and acres of parkland to explore and full of trees, flowers in Summer, wildlife, squirrels & birds & of course our resident Peacocks and Hens.

We are also 5 minutes walk from Queen Margaret train station for access to Edinburgh in 35 minutes, Glasgow & Dundee. Fife Coastal path has miles and miles of glorious walks and views, much of which is along the Forth estuary bringing the 3 bridges and gorgeous coastline all the way to Elie & Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife.

For the golfers there are 44 courses around Fife not to forget the Old Course St Andrews.
