The British Golf Museum is the world's premier heritage centre for golf. You can experience the history of golf in a unique location, just yards from the Old Course.

Museum open daily Monday to Saturday 09:30 - 17:00 & Sunday 10:00 - 17:00

The museum is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and is situated directly opposite The Royal and Ancient Clubhouse. There is a large car park behind the museum and a coach drop off point.

    There is no railway station in St Andrews. The nearest railway station to St Andrews is Leuchars (5 miles) on the main line from London King's Cross via Edinburgh, or Aberdeen.

    There are a number of bus services in St Andrews and to and from Leuchars railway station. See: Bus timetables

  • Car

    From Edinburgh & Glasgow: follow signs for Forth Road Bridge. Take the A92 towards Kirkcaldy & Glenrothes. Follow signs for Cupar & St Andrews. From the North: follow signs for Dundee, then St Andrews. When you arrive in St Andrews follow signs for the British Golf Museum.
