Come face to face with one of Europe's largest collections of sharks in one of the world's longest underwater tunnels at Deep Sea World, one of the country’s aquariums. A great day out for the entire family!
Discover the mysteries of the deep with a huge selection of creatures to gaze at in the amazing underwater tunnel. At 112 m long, it holds a million gallons of sea water, making it the largest temperate marine exhibit in the UK and one of the longest underwater safaris in the world.
See the piranhas and resident seals and you can even hold creatures from the rock pools. Or for something more adventurous, why not go diving with the sharks? Or have a birthday party under the sea?
As the National Aquarium of Scotland, Deep Sea World is one of the premier attractions in Scotland, offering fun for the whole family. It holds a full schedule of daily interactive and fun presentations such as the seal feed, meet a reptile and rock pool sessions.
Deep Sea World is dramatically situated beneath the world famous Forth Rail Bridge at North Queensferry in Fife.
Please be aware that the entrance road to North Queensferry has been amended from both North and South directions. The design of the new Ferrytoll junction requires the realignment of the B981 road to North Queensferry.
When travelling North from South across the Forth Road Bridge, please exit at the first junction and follow the diversion to the first roundabout. From here follow all signs to North Queensferry for approximately 1 mile.
Just 1 mile from the M90, we are a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh, 50 minutes from Glasgow and under 2 hours from Aberdeen.
Free on-site parking is available.
