A selection of cottage gardens in this charming, rural village, situated between Cupar and St Andrews; most gardens have stunning views over the surrounding countryside.
The gardens range from well-established cottage gardens to some which are being redesigned, and one or two which have risen like a phoenix from the ashes! They will be joining South Flisk, the large quarry garden at the top of the village - see separate entry for South Flisk's other openings. Part of the enjoyment of visiting these gardens is walking round the narrow lanes and paths, encountering the village's historic cottages - one of which has a 'green' roof - and larger houses, many of which are over 200 years old.
This is a fundraising event for the open garden charity Scotland’s Gardens Scheme which raises money for hundreds of local charities.
