Welcome to the new look website for the new look Balcomie Links Hotel in Scotland’s most beautiful village, Crail. Ok, so we’re biased but we honestly believe that when you see the historic Marketgate and Crail’s natural harbour, you won’t fail to be charmed as we are by this stunning spot in the East Neuk. The hotel changed hands in October 2021, with the new owner Drygate Inns Ltd - an independent venture between two Scottish businessmen - investing in a full renovation and redesign project to ensure the our Old Lady’s new contemporary appearance belies her advancing years. Being a small authentic village hotel in a small (but beautifully formed) authentic East Neuk village is at the heart of our ethos and we employ as many locals as we can as well as welcoming all from our local community to drink, dine and share a yarn with us at The Bal. Under the guidance of our General Manager Matt Perry, we aim to deliver not only a new look but a new standard of service with our friendly team on hand to make your visit a truly memorable one. 2024 will see the Balcomie Links Hotel celebrated 120 years of welcoming guests and we will be introducing some exciting additions to our Old Lady
