Welcome to our Home...Welcome to Fife

One thing you can be sure of is that a warm welcome awaits. You'll never want to leave.

Culross

One of Scotland's most picturesque towns, the history of the Royal Borough of Culross stretches back as far as the 6th century and is the closest thing to a 16th century time capsule anywhere in Scotland. The National Trust for Scotland has helped with the sensitive renovation of the whitewashed, crow-stepped-gabled and red-tiled buildings that so delight the locals and visitors alike.

“My Scottish tours deliver history lessons in castles, visit blockbuster movie and TV series filming locations, whisky distilleries, take you to enjoy traditional Scottish cuisine and produce or you may just want to be introduced to some local people or just relax and soak up the wonderful sites and views of our spectacular and beautiful countryside.” Donald McKenzie, Clan MacKenzie Routes

Crail

Crail is a charming fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife and boasts one of the UK's most photographed harbours. Once you visit, you’ll understand why. Charming cobbled streets lead down to the harbour where you can enjoy freshly caught seafood at the Lobster Hut during the tourist season. In June each year, the village comes alive as it hosts the Crail Food Festival, a fantastic family event.

Montrave House

Montrave House is a charming bed and breakfast near Leven which has been running since 2013, hosting hundreds of guests over the time.  Run by Airin Gilmour, the owner of the Estate, along with her husband and two sons, Montrave is a working farm with over 150 red deer on the land, including a glamping site - Wigwam® Holidays Montrave Estate, with pleny of lovely walks and woodlands to explore. Relax in front of the fire in winter or enjoy exploring the 250 acre estate.

"Montrave Estate has been in he family for over 150 years, a listed stable block built in 1872 which was at the time one of the largest in Fife. As the property was renovated in 2010, it now has all the comforts of a new property but is decorated with old and new, east and west. I come from Indonesia, so I've added certain touches and furniture from my home country, but at the same time we have taken the furniture from my husband's family and combined the two cultures and ages." Airin Gilmour
