Newburgh Scarecrow festival is back for 2025 and the theme is Famous People!
We had some crackers last year demonstrating what a seriously creative community we have here in Newburgh.
Scarecrows will be displayed from 10am on Friday when you can also purchase maps from the Tayside Institute Community Centre. They will be out as long as they stay recognisable but we know what the scottish weather can be like!
On the Saturday we'll be open 10am-2pm, selling maps, serving refreshments and homebaking for hungry travellers!
With almost 40 locations to visit last year, it's a great way to get the kids out for a wander, even if you have to bribe them with cake! We will also be announcing our winner around 12pm.
