Fife prides itself on being the Accessible Kingdom. Many of our visitor attractions, eating places, venues and accommodation providers are easily accessible, with custom-built facilities to help ensure everyone can enjoy their time in Fife to the full.

Most of Fife’s parks and nature reserves are wheelchair accessible. It’s even possible to have a day on the beach, thanks to St Andrews Beach Wheelchairs, which offers free hire of wheelchairs that have been specially designed for sand to anyone with a mobility issue.

Throughout Fife, there are shops, restaurants and pubs with level or ramped access. There’s also a wide range of accessible accommodation, ranging from wilderness camping in the beautiful Fife countryside to five-star hotels in the Home of Golf. In addition, there are Changing Places toilets across Fife, as well as Blue Badge parking for drivers and passengers with a mobility issue.
