We start with a meet and greet over a cuppa at Baern where you'll hear about what they do and why they do it. And we'll pick up our pre-ordered, specially-made picnic to enjoy later in the day. We'll then make our way to St Monans and join the Fife Coastal Path to Elie, with plenty opportunity for stops to take photos, talk about the area, the food and take in the incredible surroundings. A stop for lunch might also be your opportunity to dip your feet in the water. The last leg of the walk takes us inland, through Elie and into Elie Estate and around the west side of Kilconquhar Loch. We'll finish up at Kinneuchar Inn for optional drinks and snacks in the garden or bar - weather depending - and a chat with the team about the amazing food they serve and their ethos.
This walk requires a bit of agility to get around a couple of closed off areas as well as up and down on to the beach from the path. There's lots to talk about as the landscape changes and each village has its own special food stories and history.
