DAY

add to trip planner

What a combination! Landscape, coastline, landmarks and nature fuse together to bring you views of places you might not believe are in the Kingdom of Fife. But they are... and just waiting for you to explore and discover more. Here are just Five from Fife but there’s plenty more to enjoy.
St Monans

St Monans

Situated on the Fife Coastal Path, St Monans draws people to it with its pretty houses and harbour, not to mention the remains of the once-great Newark Castle.

A climb up to St Monans church will reward you with breathtaking views over the Forth, and you can spot the three piers jutting out from St Monans. Climb a bit further to St Monans Windmill to find out all about the salt production of days gone by.

East Neuk

East Neuk

The East Neuk of Fife is a delight to visit with a stunning coastline and charming picturesque fishing towns.

Pillars of Hercules

Pillars of Hercules

Established in 1983, Pillars is one of the oldest organic farms in Scotland growing salads, vegetables, apples and keeping laying hens. Situated next to the lovely wooded Falkland Estate with its own organically farmed land, the café serves delicious meals, cakes and coffees. There’s also a lovely farm shop with a great selection of fresh organic fruit, eggs and vegetables as well as wholefoods, home baked breads, meat, dairy products and gluten-free food. Sshh...don't tell anyone!

Kingsbarns Golf Links

Kingsbarns Golf Links

The relaxed clubhouse, broad smile from each member of staff and hearty handshake of the first tee starter all combine to ensure that your trip to play golf in Scotland includes what has been called the warmest welcome in golf. Kingsbarns Golf Links is proud to be part of the heritage of links golf in St Andrews. Located 7 miles south east of the home of golf, the game has been played on the site since 1793.
