Current exhibition: it’s a pleasure to host French artist Laurent Dessupoiu‘s UK debut show. Writing is one of humanity’s greatest achievements, enabling our languages, learning and communication to be recorded for future generations and shared across cultures. Handwriting reveals not only our unique personality but perhaps also our age, where we’re from, even the onset of some illnesses or conditions. In an increasingly digital age, while handwriting is used less often, it has become the subject of serious contemplation for some leading contemporary artists. It’s a great pleasure to bring this text-based artwork to the UK for the first time. For further information and prices, click on ‘Artworks’ tab. We also have catalogues of Laurent’s work available – please e-mail me if you’d like a copy (£12. plus p&p).
Dominic Walmsley’s St Andrews collection of jewellery in gilt, silver and precious gems, exclusive to the Gallery, continues to amaze visitors. Pendants, cufflinks, and earrings inspired by Geddy’s map of St Andrews make the perfect graduation present or memento of your visit to St Andrews.
