Heard of the Famous Five? Well here’s Fife’s wildlife famous five for you to spot throughout the seasons on land, sea and on the skyline when you’re out and about. Comical puffins on the Isle of May, soaring sea eagles and colourful dragonflies. Look out in autumn for scurrying squirrels on the red squirrel trail in Devilla Forest and cute seals along the Tentsmuir shoreline.

A trip to the Isle of May is a fantastic day out. Imagine a gentle boat ride, colourful and comical puffins, miles away from your daily life and on your return, an afternoon tea or fish supper to round it off. Boat trips run from 1 Apr-30 Sept.

Spot Britain's largest bird of prey

Sea eagles, Britain's largest bird of prey, can be spotted along the Fife coastline.

Try to resist those puppy eyes

Seals are regularly spotted at various points along the Fife coastline and Tentsmuir is a favourite. If you're there, we would also recommend a visit to The Crepe Shack.
