The 2023 Championship, an annual celebration of Links golf and the only professional golf event staged at St Andrews every year, takes place over the Old Course, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie .

Once again many of the world’s top golf professionals and well-known names from entertainment, sport and business will team up in one of the most popular events on the golfing calendar.

Among the golfers who have graced the fairways at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in recent years are Major Championship winners including Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Brooks Koepka, Shane Lowry, Danny Willet, Justin Rose, Darren Clarke, Sir Nick Faldo and Martin Kaymer.

Other popular golfers to have competed are two-time winner Tyrrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood, Lee Westwood and Americans Billy Horschel and Tony Finau. Current champion is New Zealand’s Ryan Fox.

At the heart of the event is the Team Championship, where pro’s bond with enthusiastic amateurs to give a special flavour to this unique event. In recent years, this has included Ronan Keating, Hugh Grant, Bill Murray, Jamie Dornan, Greg Kinnear, Andy Garcia, Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Ian Botham and Kevin Pietersen.

Admission is FREE for all spectators over the first three days of the Championship. Tickets for the exciting final day - Sunday, October 8 – are now on sale priced £20 (Concessions £15).
