An incredible large-scale tapestry – created by a Dunfermline community weaving project which brought together the artistic contributions of more than 700 people – is now ready to view at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries (DCL&G).

The Dunfermline Tapestry, measuring an impressive 4m x 1.3m, celebrates the town’s rich weaving history and is made up from over 900 individual miniature woven looms, made by the hundreds of adults and children who have been involved in the project.

The Dunfermline Tapestry exhibition is on at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries from 5 July until 24 October and is open every day except Tuesday. There are still Covid restrictions in place on numbers at DCL&G and visits can be booked at
