Flooring the World

This exhibition celebrates the history of the Fife linoleum industry, from its beginnings in a Kirkcaldy canvas works right through to the present day.  It features objects from OnFife’s unique linoleum collection, some of which – including those collected during the project – are going on display for the very first time!  You’ll also get a chance to explore the milestones achieved during the project, including oral histories with linoleum workers, new discoveries uncovered during our research, and objects we’ve been able to conserve for future generations.  Come along and find out how Fife floored the world!
