History in the Park will return to Craigtoun Country Park on 5th-7th June 2026! This annual event celebrates the last 2000 years of Scottish history and is free to attend. Come along and see Historical Encampments demonstrating life in Scotland from the Romans, Vikings, Stuarts, Jacobites, the World Wars and more.
Whether you are interested in learning more about heritage crafts, the daily lives of Scots throughout history, or just want to enjoy some battles reenactments, you will find Scotland’s rich cultural heritage brought to life by dedicated reenactors.
Friday 5th June is dedicated to pre-booked groups of school and home-schooled children and this can be arranged by contacting the organisers via the event page on our website.
