Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival 2026
Event Overview:
The Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival returns for a full weekend of racing across some of Fife’s most scenic parks and coastal pathways. Celebrating Kirkcaldy’s historic “Lang Toun,” the festival features a Half Marathon, Trail Race, and the popular Fun Run, alongside an expanded Event Village offering family-friendly activities, stalls, and live coverage from partner station K107FM.

Saturday 29 August – 1:00pm, Dunnikier Park
A mixed-terrain woodland and parkland route through Dunnikier Park and surrounding trails.
Half Marathon
Sunday 30 August – 10:00am, Beveridge Park
The Kirkcaldy Parks Half Marathon offers a scenic and varied 13.1‑mile route starting in Beveridge Park, taking runners through Dunnikier Park, Ravenscraig Park, the coastal path with stunning sea views, and the historic village of Dysart before finishing along the newly refurbished waterfront, featuring a mix of hills, fast flats and downhills ideal for both PB‑seekers and those enjoying a picturesque challenge.

Event Village:
The expanded Event Village at Beveridge Park on the Sunday includes entertainment, stalls, family activities, and live updates throughout the weekend.
Registration:
Half Marathon entries are now open via EntryCentral, with Trail Race and Fun Run entries opening in March, April and May.
