Pittenweem Arts Festival returns from 1–8 August 2026, transforming the picturesque East Neuk fishing village into one of Scotland's most unique visual arts destinations.

Explore work by more than 190 artists exhibiting across over 90 extraordinary venues, from homes, studios and galleries to gardens, workshops and unexpected spaces throughout the village. Meet artists, discover hidden exhibitions and experience art in a way that simply can't be found anywhere else.

This year's festival welcomes invited artists Ella McKay and Morvern Graham, alongside Henderson Inglis Bursary winner Yimou Huang and the Emerging Artists Exhibition, showcasing some of Scotland's most exciting new talent.

Visitors can also discover the relaunched New Perspectives: Open Art Exhibition, presented at Pittenweem Harbour for the first time, with the chance to vote for their favourite artwork.

Alongside the visual arts programme, enjoy more than 60 events for all ages, including performances by Kathryn Joseph, Cloth and Free Love, outdoor theatre from The Handlebards, artist talks, workshops, book events, a Community Ceilidh and the ever-popular En Plein Air Competition. Families can enjoy a free opening weekend pop-up in partnership with WILDHOOD Children's Festival, featuring storytelling, performances, flower crown making, circus skills and arts and crafts.

Whether you're looking to buy original artwork, discover emerging artists, take part in creative workshops or simply soak up the atmosphere of one of Scotland's most beautiful coastal villages, Pittenweem Arts Festival offers an unforgettable day out, or the perfect reason to stay and explore the East Neuk.
