As we approach the autumn equinox, a time of balance and transition, we’ll take inspiration from the gardens and the changing season, slowing down to notice the colours, textures and quiet details that often go unseen. Through sketching, observation and clay work, you’ll explore how personal symbols, natural forms and treasured memories can be transformed into meaningful, wearable pieces. Throughout the day, you’ll learn techniques for working with porcelain as you design and create a collection of jewellery components, including charms, pendants and earrings. Inspired by leaves, flowers, shells and other seasonal treasures, you’ll be encouraged to develop your own visual language, creating jewellery that reflects your connection to nature and the stories you wish to carry with you. After the workshop, your porcelain pieces will be carefully fired and finished before being assembled with jewellery findings and posted back to you, ready to wear or gift. Suitable for all levels of experience.
