The RSCDS Junior Summer School is a great opportunity for young people to engage in fun, fitness and friendship through Scottish country dancing. Junior Summer School is a series of daily dance and activity workshops, giving young people the opportunity to meet up with their peers to learn many dance steps and formations. In addition to dancing (Scottish country dancing, Highland steps for Scottish country dancing, Ceilidh dancing and Step dancing), young people will have the opportunity to participate in other exciting activities, such as an evening dance, picnic and games on the beach, a music session, crafts and Ceilidh. Refreshments and snacks will be provided each day between the activities. The week will culminate in a ceilidh on the Friday evening and all young people attending the workshops will be able to participate.
