Join us for a wonderful spring weekend celebrating the Backhouse Daffodil legacy at this historic estate with Royal connections, and see centuries of heritage.
Enjoy a full programme across the weekend including inside the barn and outside in the garden. The Festival Cafe will be serving fresh bakes, hot and cold drinks, and delicious treats.
Guided Tours (pre booking essential limited places). Explore neat managed Daffodil Beds: walk through the unfolding daffodil breeding history and the restored Walled Garden, and woodland walk.

Thre will be pre recorded Talks, local stalls offering great food and drink, as well as fabulous vintage and artisan items, Spring Wedding set ups in the Long Barn. You can also see prize winning heritage and modern daffodils on display from the UK's Gold Medal winning RHS top award winning Master Growers
Family Activities include Little ones Bear Walk, Woodland walk (Optional Quiz) fringed by daffodils to a hidden ruined covenanter's tomb, 9 hole putting, Walled Garden with optional quiz.
Inside the barn: Vintage Fete for children - remember the joy of hook a-duck ! Stalls with something for all.
This is one of the estates favourite weekends of the year, the garden is bursting with colour and the estate full of life, and a chance to see the only scientific collection of Narcissus in the world right here in Fife.
