Crail Harbour Cafe
Crail Harbour Gallery & Tearoom is a delightful cafe in the charming village of Crail in the renovated cellars of a 17th century fisherman’s cottage with original stone walls, flagstones and exposed beams. Step outside and you'll find yourself in a gorgeous sheltered courtyard where you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May. On a sunny day, it's a slice of the mediterranean.
The Aurrie Cafe, Lower Largo
You'll find The Aurrie (pronounced aw-ry) just off the beach in the middle of the picturesque and historic Fife village of Lower Largo. Helen and David of Lily's Larder run Lily's @ The Aurrie café serving a range of hot and cold snacks. They are passionate about supporting local providers for ingredients and source their cakes from a number of local bakers. There are a few table outdoors, but dogs are also made very welcome indoors too.
Current opening hours are Wed - Sun 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Larrick Cafe, Tayport
The Larick Café is part of the award-winning Larick Centre in Tayport and the light, spacious café is open 7 days a week from 10am till 4pm serving breakfast and a selection of hot and cold food, drinks and delicious cakes. Scones are baked fresh every day! Located near Tentsmuir and on the Fife Coastal Path, it's the perfect stop off for dog walkers and is very welcoming of dogs.
Cambo Gardens Cafe, Kingsbarns
Open daily from 10am, The Cambo Gardens Cafe is dog friendly with treats and belly rubs for good behaviour! The cafe offers creative cooking from scratch every day, serving a menu of vegetarian and vegan friendly food. THere's both indoor and outdoor seating spread across the Stables building and courtyards.
The Rhynd, Leuchars
Just five minutes from Leuchars, you'll find a gem of a cafe - The Rhynd - very welcoming of dogs and serving a menu of delicious, home-cooked hot and cold food, as well as proper coffee and delicious tea. And if you're in the area, Tentsmuir is a great place for a longer dog walk.
Cottage Kitchen, St Andrews
Cottage Kitchen is a vibrant coffee shop and award-winning bistro in St Andrews, recently picking up Best Bistro in Fife at the 2022 Scottish Business Awards.They are passionate about sourcing and serving local produce, with menus changing seasonally serving fresh, homemade dishes. There are tables in the rear courtyard, as well as at the front of the cafe which are dog-friendly.
Blacketyside Farm Shop Cafe, Leven
Just on the outskirts of Leven, you'll find Blacketyside Farm Shop which has a tearoom with a large covered outdoor seating area, perfect for dining with pooches. The food is all locally sourced and homemade in the kitchen. Don't miss the packed farm shop, with fresh berries, local produce and butchery counter as you'll want to pick up some goodies to take home.
Cocoa Tree, Pittenweem
THe Cocoa Tree has a sheltered courtyard garden which welcomes dogs. The cafe offers quality coffee and tea infusions, as well as a speciality intense “Caliente” chilli chocolate drink. You’ll also find a delicious menu of soups, gourmet focaccia, crêpes and tempting homemade sweet treats, including chocolate scones and their signature chocolate cake. Yum!
Balgove Larder, St Andrews
Just on the outskirts of St Andrews, a must-visit is Balgove Larder - a farmshop, steak barn and cafe. Although dogs aren't allowed inside, there's a lovely outdoor seating area and delicious menu to choose from. And the farm shop is a must-visit while you're there.
Coast Coffee, Anstruther
A small family run full of fun coffee shop in the heart of Anstruther serving fresh iIly coffee and delicious paninis, toasted sandwiches and more. The outdoor seating area makes it perfect for a coffee stop with your four-legged friend, and the views aren't bad either.
