The story of Gen. Stanisław Sosabowski and the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade is closely linked to Fife and is an example of the joint operations of Polish and British armed forces during World War II.

Formed here in 1941, the Brigade went on to fight with bravery and distinction at the Battle of Arnhem.
As we mark the 85th anniversary of the Brigade's formation, join us for a series of events celebrating Gen. Stanisław Sosabowski and the Polish soldiers who trained in Fife, and honouring their remarkable legacy.

2pm: Sosabowski Polish School Glasgow Choir performance
