Age guidance: 8-11 years Telling Stories about the Past Join the Scottish Makar, Professor Peter Mackay, for an afternoon of poetry, as part of the “Hamewith: Celebrating the Scots Language” exhibition. Who lived in this house? Who played with those toys? What on earth is that in the corner? Why is it made of gingerbread? What stories do people from the past need us to hear? This workshop will explore different ways of talking to the past, in a light-hearted approach to poetry. Bookings cover the cost of the Museum admission fee and will reserve you space on the workshop.
