A former Britten-Pears Young Artist and regular freelance player with the SCO, RSNO, BBC SSO and Manchester Camerata, violinist Kirsty Main performs 17th and 18th century repertoire by Johann Helmich Roman and Frescobaldi, 20th century music by Arvo Pärt and the Concerto Sacro by one of Norway's most important composers, Knut Nystedt. Andrew Forbes, Director of Music at Glasgow Cathedral, plays both the historic 1868 T.C. Lewis organ and the Goetze and Gwynn Italian organ.
