Fife Ambassadors
Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife has been Scotland’s National Motorsport Centre for over 40 years and host to the UK’s top televised motorsport car and bike events, which attract 150,000 visitors annually from all over the world.
As well as being the Corporate Business Development Manager at Knockhill, Gordon Shedden is Scotland’s most successful British Touring Car driver, currently racing with the Halfords Racing with Cataclean. He is one of only three Scots to have won the prestigious Championship, along with John Cleland (Borders); the only other Scot to win was the legendary Jim Clark, also a Fifer from Kilmany.
Gordon Shedden added: “Growing up in Dunfermline and living only five miles from Knockhill, Scotland’s National Motorsport Centre, was a huge boost to my racing career. From a small boy watching motor racing at Knockhill with my Dad, to living every boy’s dream, racing has always been my passion. Being a Fife Ambassador is a great honour to help make people aware just how much the Kingdom has to offer. ”
