Join Lutra Grampia and Cambo Gardens for a short guided walk along Cambo Burn, learning about otters, their ecology and other local wildlife Designed to give you a brief introduction to otters and their ecology, we'll take a walk out along Cambo Burn from Cambo Gardens, Kingsbarns, and look out for otter field signs and other wildlife along the way.
You'll learn more about the local otter population, and we'll discuss otter biology, behaviour and conservation and how it all fits in to what's going on around Cambo and Kingsbarns. We'll carry on down to the coast, where we'll then take a short walk along the beach before heading back to the Gardens. We'll be walking at a gradual pace and stopping regularly to investigate what we find for around an hour and half. The level path network around Cambo is fully accessible and there will be the option of following the coastal path alongside the beach if it better suits the needs of any members of the group.
This event is suitable for all ages, and for these events, children under 16 go free. All tickets include day entry to the beautiful walled garden. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day, and bring your binoculars and all of your burning otter and wildlife related questions!
