THE SHIP INN

Sitting right on the coastal path, overlooking the stunning sandy beach of Elie Bay, The Ship Inn has outdoor seating, beer garden and a barbeque area, perfect for summer walks. Inside there’s a cosy, nautical feel with pub food available downstairs by the fire and the restaurant upstairs serving up local seafood, burgers and seasonally changing dishes. During the summer months you can also enjoy beach cricket as it's home to the UK's only beach cricket team!

A must-visit for cheese lovers, this quirky shack can be found at East Sands beach, St Andrews. Open 7 days a week they serve up gooey, inventive grilled cheese sandwiches and toasted treats. Quick, affordable and delicious, it’s the ideal stop for a snack during a coastal walk and can be enjoyed on the beautiful beach.

If visiting, collect the keys and stop off at fascinating St Fillans cave.

Close to the harbour, the Giddy Gannet serves creative, seasonal dishes, light bites and delicious coffee and cakes. You can also take out to enjoy by the harbour. Don't miss the quirky Welly Boot Garden in St Monans.

Located at Tentsmuir Forest and beach, Salt & Pine is a quirky mobile cafe serving up speciality crepes (sweet and savoury) as well as other light bites, milkshakes and fresh coffee. Its casual, al fresco set up makes it perfect for a relaxed stop to refuel after a coastal hike or a beach walk.

THE WEE RESTAURANT

Living up to its name, this established restaurant is a hidden gem tucked under the iconic Forth Bridge.  The restaurant serves up great seasonal food and fine wines in an intimate space. Chef Craig Wood has won a number of awards and accolades over the years and the food is not to be forgotten. It’s also convenient for the railway station, a perfect way to help you explore the coastal path.
