We have various ecosystems in our body; we are part of the land and therefore part of an ecosystem as well. As a medical herbalist with a professional background in ecology, this perspective is the foundation of my work. I see the internal landscapes of the human body as living networks that require the same balance, diversity and care as woodlands and shorelines for example.
My work is an invitation to step into a sensory dialogue with this living world. Through immersive herb walks and artisanal workshops across Fife, I help you rediscover the 'language of the plants.' I offer sensorial experiences, engaging the nose, the palate and the intuition to understand the complex aromatic profiles and medicinal virtues of the plants that grow beneath our feet.
From specialist health talks that map out our internal ecosystems to hands-on blending sessions, my goal is to bridge the gap between clinical science and environmental wisdom. By awakening our senses to the seasonal rhythms of the land, we are not just learning about herbs; we are tending to our place within the wider living world. I offer a traditional and scientific based approach to herbal medicine that respects the complexity of our internal systems as deeply as the ecology of the bioregional landscape.
I also provide private clinical consultations for those seeking a bespoke, 1-to-1 approach to their health.
