Join us at this family-friendly drop-in session and discover the iconic patterns used by different fishing companies and then create your own colourful design to take home.
Silver Darlings - Discover the shimmer of the sea in this Arty Drop-in Friday 13th 1:30pm - 3:30pm and Monday 16th February 2pm - 4.30pm Did you know that herring were once called “Silver Darlings” because they sparkled like treasure in the fisherman’s nets? This half-term (or After School if you're back in on the 16th Fifers!), join us for this hands-on craft session and create your very own 'Silver Darling' using shiny foil. It’s a great way to combine a little bit of local lore with a lot of creative fun. We also have a Kids in Musuems Trail, Dressing-Up and a Collective Artwork to contribute to over the fortnight and Seasonal Storytime on Sunday 15th February betwen 2pm and 3pm - see our website for more details We plan our activities to be ASN-Friendly but if you have any queries please get in touch.
