StAnza 2026

With a global reputation for hosting an innovative, inspirational
festival in a beautiful place, StAnza: Scotland’s International Poetry
Festival is proud to be back in St Andrews showcasing poetry from around
the world. The festival theme for 2026 is ‘You Are Not Alone’ and with
more than 70 poets from 7 countries StAnza will bring together work that
connects, protects and makes us less lonely.

The full programme will be announced in January 2026, and you can look
forward to over 75 events across three packed days centred around the
Byre theatre, StAnza’s buzzing festival hub. The festival features
readings, workshops, open mics, exhibitions and theatre all under one
roof.
