ENJOY A ROOFTOP DINING EXPERIENCE AT RUSACKS

An exciting new rooftop dining experience 18 has launched at Rusacks St Andrews boasting unrivalled panoramic views over the famous Old Course and West Sands beach. There’s even a putting green on the balcony! Named after the golf course’s iconic 18th hole, which it overlooks, the rooftop restaurant specialises in a menu using the very best seasonal Scottish produce, created  by Executive Chef and MasterChef: The Professionals, winner Derek Johnstone. Definitely the place to be!

VISIT THE NEW 5 STAR R&A WORLD GOLF MUSEUM

Following a rebranding and complete refit, this 5 star attraction in St Andrews offers a fresh and exciting display of golf’s history. There’s a lot to explore and the new immersive galleries bring the past, present and future of golf to life and thousands of fascinating objects tell hidden stories of the game and it’s personalities.  Don’t miss the lovely rooftop cafe for food with a view in the Home of Golf.

WARM YOUR COCKLES WITH A DISTILLERY TOUR

THe perfect way to warm up on a cold autumnal day is to take a tour at one of Fife’s distilleries. Visit Lindores Abbey Distillery where the first written evidence of whisky distillation was recorded back in 1494; a real pilgrimage for any whisky lover. For something different, why not book the Apothecary experience. 

If you’re in St Andrews head to Kingsbarns Distillery which has an equally compelling story of ‘Dream to Dram’ to share with visitors. And if whisky isn’t your thing, you can enjoy a Darnley’s gin tour there too. Slainte.

WRAP UP WARM AND TAKE IN AUTUMN’S BEAUTIFUL COLOURS

There’s something magical about this season and the changing colours (and temperature!). Wrap up cosy, pop on your boots and head to one of Fife’s forests for an energising walk and to appreciate the colourful beauty of nature. 

Tentsmuir is a favourite with families with plenty of trails to choose from as well as wildlife to spot along the way. Devilla Forest and Blairadam Forest are also popular along with Ladybank woods with dog walkers. For more inspiration, check out our walks for wellness.

Forgan’s Ceilidh weekends are back…yay!! Enjoy a truly Scottish evening with some fine food, then hit the dance floor for Strip the Willow or the Gay Gordons. The perfect night out…Fife style. Friday and Saturday from 10.30pm.

ENJOY A UNIQUE FOOD EXPERIENCE AT BOWHOUSE FOOD WEEKEND

If you’re a food lover and never heard of Bowhouse…where have you been!?. Bowhouse is well known for its bustling Market weekend held on the second weekend of each month where the best local food and drink traders from Fife and further afield come together..Meet the makers while shopping local and seasonal produce. Enjoy workshops and cookery demonstrations throughout the day, as well as a cool street food area where you can relax and enjoy a bite to eat.

EXPERIENCE SCOTLAND’S ONLY FESTIVAL OF VOCAL AND CHORAL MUSIC

St Andrews Voices takes place each October in the magnificent setting of St Andrews. Launched in 2012 by Artistic Director Sonia Stevenson, ‘Voices’ has established its place in the Scottish musical calendar and is admired for its diverse programming, presenting some of the finest singers from the UK and beyond.
