We need help from the community please, to plant a mix of 250 native tree species. These trees will help to connect existing woodland habitat around Coul Reservoir, and create new habitat to support our wildlife. This planting will also help the site to re-establish after river restoration works were completed last year. We will spend a few hours planting trees, with ample breaks and tea and coffee provided. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to walk the site and see the river restoration works with River Restoration Officer Maddie, for those who are interested. Please be aware that conditions may be muddy and we will be working on a hillside, so a good level of fitness and mobility is required. We will share details of the meeting place with all who book a place. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
If you book places but then can’t attend, please let us know by cancelling your ticket on Eventbrite, or by emailing ask.us@fifecountryside.co.uk or phoning 01592 656080. Nearer the event we will email all participants with details of the meeting place. If you cancel your tickets, which have an associated payment/donation, you will be responsible for paying the Eventbrite administration fee.
