Sea Glint is a delightful 3-bedroom self catering cottage (sleeps 4) near the sea front in Pittenweem. The house is a Listed 18th Century cottage restored in 2006 to a high standard. Close to the harbour, Sea Glint benefits from a pleasant and sheltered courtyard.
Sea Glint, a Category B Listed cottage, is set in one of the most striking locations on the Firth of Forth. It is situated at the foot of one of the village's beautiful narrow wynds running down to the sea. A few seconds from the front door you may see grey seals, dolphins, and many species of sea and shorebirds. From your seat in the quiet courtyard you can listen to the sound of the sea as it rises and falls.
Accommodation is on three floors with living room, one double bedroom, two single bedrooms, kitchen dining room, bathroom and second WC. The top floor has been converted to a bright and spacious open plan lounge. From the kitchen door you can see the Bass Rock. The sheltered courtyard provides a quiet place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the sea and the gulls.
Approaching Pittenweem from the west on the A917 drive straight through the village until you come to the sign for Historic Harbour turn right then sharp left down the hill towards the Harbour. Drive along East Shore past the Larachmhor pub to Mid Shore with the sea on your left. Bruce's Wynd is on the right about 200 yards beyond the pub. Sea Glint is first house on the left in the small courtyard as you walk up Bruce's Wynd.
