As the tide recedes at Pettycur, it exposes a huge area of sand and mud flats which go all the way out to the Black Rocks and west to Burntisland beach which at extreme low tide and with care, it is possible to walk to.
Pettycur Bay are winners of Fife's 2015 Seaside Award.
