Fife is home to some of the very best food and drink in Scotland and we are celebrating and showcasing our wonderful food and drink producers and businesses at the third Fife Food & Drink Week.

From 7th to 15th March there are lots of tasty events such from special menus to markets, and talks to tastings at venues across the Kingdom.

Celebrate the amazing produce from around Fife's coastlines with a delicious Celebrate Fife's Fishermen Tasting Menu at Haar in St Andrews. This special menu will feature lobster, crab, langoustine and many foraged plants from our shores.  The menu will comprise of a 7 course tasting menu costing £99 per person. There will be a carefully curated drinks flight to match the food at an additional cost. This will also showcase drinks and spirits from across the region priced at £59 per person.  

Fancy a Braw Deal? At The Bothy in St Andrews you can enjoy a delicious market menu which changes every week, but is always fresh, and always interesting! 2 courses for £21 | 3 courses for £26 or enjoy a main course from the braw deal menu with a 125ml glass of wine for £19.95. Available weekdays 12-4pm.

Grab a friend for a Cozy Combo at Mitchell's in St Andrews. You can enjoy dinner for two which includes 2 small plates, sharer board (steak board supplement +£20) and a dessert all for £49.95.

Whisky fans, don't miss this unique event! The Auld Hoose in Kinghorn is hosting a Cask & Chilli Celebration event. Join us to experience over 70 exclusive & rare malt whiskies paired with slow-cooked chilli con-carne. Taste the adventure & savour the dram. Available from 7th to 15th March.

Enjoy a special dining experience and wonderful views over St Andrews with the Coastal Special at the Castle Course Clubhouse. Dine on an exclusive dish crafted in partnership with GJ Wilson Fish Merchants of Fife, showcasing the finest local ingredients. Featuring a pan‑roasted St Monans–landed cod fillet served with tender Pittormie asparagus, fresh samphire, and succulent mussels, all brought together in a delicate white wine, lemon, and chive butter sauce. Available from 7th to 15th March.

Food & Drink Week is the perfect time to learn about whisky made in Fife on a 2 for 1 Kingsbarns Distillery Tour (two people for the price of one). During this fascinating tour you'll learn about the science of distilling, the local ingredients Kingsbarns use to craft their single malt whisky, and the history of Kingsbarns' origins... before of course, you get to sample the distinct flavours of three of their single malt whiskies.

If you love a good burger then the Fife Food & Drink Week Special at The Rhynd should be on your list. Chef Jack Baldwin has turned up the heat with a truly mouthwatering special. The delicious Korean BBQ Chicken Burger pairs fresh, local ingredients with vibrant, exotic flavours for a fearless fusion that’s big, bright, and bursting with flavour. Creative, flavour-packed, and available for a limited time throughout Fife Food & Drink Week!

Pop along to Silverburn Park in Leven for Fife Food & Drink Week at The Cottage Window Cafe. Try the unique specials only available during Fife Food and Drink Week including Hot Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese and Rocket on an Italian Roll, Avocado & Chicken Roll, Grated Vegetable Salad Roll, Hummingbird Slice Cake and White Chocolate & Lime Scones.

Make Kirkcaldy your dining destination for The Grande Steak Offer at The Dean Park. Experience a four-course steak dinner from their Josper oven in our two AA Rosette restaurant, The Grande. This special dining experience includes freshly homemade bread, a starter, a 10oz sirloin steak served with your choice of one side and sauce, and a delicious dessert, all for £80 per couple.

Come along to the monthly St Andrews Market in South Street on 7th March with its independent producers and creatives! You'll find fresh produce and food, handmade crafts, homewares and more. With a focus on sustainability a tree will be planted for each market we run to address our impact and that of our stallholders on the carbon footprint associated with our markets.

Cambo Gardens is the venue for a practical Deer Butchery Workshop on 7th March, led by non profit organisation Rebel Larder. You will learn how to safely source Scottish Wild Deer which is humanely culled to control the unustainable deer population which damages important habitats native to Scotland. You will gain skills and confidence to cleanly skin and butcher in your own kitchen in future, and you’ll get to take home some of the venison, which is a nutritious, healthy, locally-available, low-fat, sustainable protein.

Celebrate a special day on 8th March at Lunch With Jo Malone London – International Women’s Day. This special afternoon in collaboration with Jo Malone London, begins at The Physician and continues at The Adamson. Guests will be welcomed with arrival drinks and canapés at The Physician, setting the tone for a relaxed and elegant start to the day. The experience then moves to The Adamson, where you’ll enjoy a beautifully curated two-course lunch (main and dessert). The menu will be inspired by iconic Jo Malone London fragrances, featuring notes of: Pear, Freesia, Patchouli, Sweet Pea, Rose, Rhubarb, and Bergamot. Expect an immersive experience where scent meets flavour, alongside DJ, Jo Malone London stalls, and plenty of time to explore, indulge, and celebrate women in style. Tickets are £75 per person, with £30 redeemable as a Jo Malone London voucher, to be used on the day toward fragrances and goodies.  

Knockhill Distillery is a family run, independent distillery which marks the first distillery in West Fife for over two hundred years. Join the Online Launch of their premium Gin and Whisky on 6th and 7th March.

Coffee lovers! Get along to Meet the Roaster - Bryte Coffee at Zest Cafe in St Andrews on 11th March. Whether you're a casual sipper or a dedicated home barista, this one is for you! What to expect: Taste a selection of our coffees of different styles, profiles & origins Learn about the producers and how they work together to achieve an ethical, sustainable approach See & taste some different brewing techniques that are great for at home. Chat coffee, brewing & anything else you fancy in a relaxed setting where everyone is welcome.

Saddle up, get your glad rags on and head to Pratis Barns for Cheltenham Gold Cup Day on 13th March. Imagine your hospitality suites at the racecourse; a complimentary welcome drink, a fabulous three course lunch, copies of The Racing Post to see whom all the runners and riders are, a 15 ft HD screen showing all the racing and hopefully a few other surprises.

Discover the art of fermentation at the Fermenting in the garden: Kimchi & seasonal garden veg workshop on 14th March . This is a practical, hands-on workshop set in the beautiful surroundings of Ravenscraig Walled Garden. You’ll make seasonal kimchi to take away, along with recipes and suggestions so that you can experiment at home and you’ll learn how to introduce fermented foods to your diet in easy and accessible ways and taste fermented foods and discuss the benefits for our health and wellbeing,

The fabulous Fife College Food & Drink Festival is back for 2026. It's a great family event with FREE ENTRY featuring cooking demonstrations, kids’ cookery workshops, tastings and stalls with the chance to buy some great local produce, workshops and masterclasses, cocktail bar, street food vans, music, entertainment and face-painting and more...save the date - 14th March.

Is Super Saturday in your calendar? Enjoy an epic day of international rugby action with your friends and family at Six Nations Super Saturday at Pratis Barns on 14th March. Watch all three matches live on a giant 15ft HD screen and enjoy delicious street food from the grill and wood-fired oven. There will be a charity raffle and games too to add to the fun!

Head along to Bowhouse March Market on 14th & 15th March to enjoy a tasty array of Scottish food and drink traders, plus live music and street food. Enjoy meeting the makers while shopping what is local and seasonal. The market will be run in conjunction with Tea Green Events who will be bringing along a fantastic range of unique craft traders.

BYOB and food and immerse yourself in Spanish culture, food and drink at a Flamenco Experience featuring TuFlamenco Trio on 15th March. The performance flows through traditional flamenco forms and in addition to the performance itself, the trio will also offer a short participatory workshop, inviting the audience to explore some of the core elements of flamenco.

Dunfermline City Artisan Market is held in a wonderful location in the city's Heritage Quarter. Each month you’ll find 25 + stalls featuring local makers, producers and creatives selling everything from fresh food and baked treats to art, textiles, home décor, gifts and more — perfect for discovering unique products and supporting local independent traders. The March Market is on the 15th.

Treat that special person in your life to Mother's Day Afternoon Tea at Hill of Tarvit Mansion House on 15th March. Enjoy delicious dainty treats in the beautiful surroundings of this historic country house.
